On August 03, 2017, Raymond Johnson was shot as he was leaving work at Easy Pawn located at 3701 Monroe Road. Roosevelt Hinton Homicide
October 28, 2010

On 10/28/2010 at 1:58 pm, a robbery occurred at the Get-A-Way Lounge, 9305 Wilkinson Boulevard wherein the owner, Roosevelt Hinton, was shot and killed. A person of interest was observed at the lounge driving a late 1990’s or early 2000 Honda coupe (two door), faded black in color, with black and silver rims. This vehicle was unique in that scratched in the paint on the passenger rear quarter panel was “Fuck the War.” Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call (704) 432-TIPS (8477) and speak directly to a Homicide Unit Detective.
